Exploring the realm of absurd fiction has been an eye-opening journey that introduced me to unconventional narratives and shed light on my shortcomings, particularly in poor time management and procrastination. The whimsical and often surreal nature of absurd fiction
demanded a heightened focus, which I found needed improvement in my approach due to the habit of putting tasks off until the last minute. As I delved into the world of illogical plots and nonsensical characters, I couldn't help but draw parallels between the chaos on the pages and the disorder in my schedule. Recognizing this, I am determined to improve my time management skills, set realistic deadlines, and break down larger tasks into manageable chunks to avoid procrastination. By implementing strategies such as prioritizing tasks, creating a structured daily routine, and utilizing productivity tools, I aim to discipline and enhance my overall efficiency. I have taken on many new responsibilities in a short time. I got my first full time and thought adding school on top of it would be no big deal. I was shocked when I found that had a little extra time and little motivation to complete the work. I learned just how much I dislike learning online and prefer an in-person experience. As I complete this course it makes me reconsider the easy plan, I had for what I thought going to school while working full time would be like. I plan to take a semester off to re-evaluate things and will come back with a better plan of action. While I think the stories we read were interesting I do not think absurd fiction is a genre for me. I look forward to the break ahead and will apply better time management to my job. All in all it was a great course and I had a pretty good time.
